Starting at 12.30pm on Friday 9th June 2017. You are cordially invited to arrive early to inspect the bulls from 10.30am and enjoy a light luncheon prior to or after the sale.

LOT 1 - GLENANTHONY DELEGATE AD009 Horned A big powerful bull with excellent calving and birth weight EBVs. Look how the actual EMA of 100sq.cm is reflected in an EBV of +3.5. Will sire weaners that stand out on sale day. |

LOT 2 - GLENANTHONY DUNMORE AD38 Polled A long smooth bull with a smooth muscle pattern showing width along the back and excellent depth in the hind quarter. Great EBVs for calving ease and eye muscle area. |

Lot 3 - GLENANTHONY DARWIN AD48 Polled An excellent carcass bull with thickness and depth. EBVs predict easy calving, above average growth and positive fats.

LOT 11 - GLENANTHONY DEXTER AD42 A compact medium framed bull with great capacity, a smooth well set shoulder and good neck extension. With excellent calving ease and birth weight EBVs this bull should be safe on heifers and smaller framed cows. |

LOT 12 - GLENANTHONY DENZAL AD64 The youngest bull in the sale with the highest growth EBVs. Denzal is a moderate framed bull out of one of the best old Yardstick cows in the herd.

Y-arta is now seven years of age and is still sound in wind and limb. He is still very keen to work but did suffer a back strain last season and so will probably be retired from paddock mating.

CHAMPS BRAVO (IMP CAN) CA701002 This is an attractive mature bull born in 2008 in Canada and now deceased. Semen was brought to New Zealand by Semex and we were able to procure a few straws. We have used Bravo for his polled genes, his eye appeal and structural soundness. In New Zealand he has developed excellent EBV's for calving ease and Eye Muscle Area and shows positive fats. We are retaining two bulls by Bravo to use in the herd. |

Purchased at Ray Cameron's bull sale in Kaikohe on the 4th June 2014, A 497 has grown into a very good sire with a thick, smooth, muscle pattern and easy calving confirmation. He has been mated with first calving heifers without any problems. He adds polled genes and a good red colour to our programme and has developed above average EBV's for growth, Eye

An excellent polled son of Y-arta that sold at Beef Expo 2016 to a commercial buyer. So sad that otherSimmental Studs missed the opportunity to buy such a good bull.
